Reduced Surface Activity (RSA™) Glass
The MicroSolv™ MRQ™ vials are solid glass vials designed for use with autosamplers with side port needles such as Waters® Alliance and others. To maintain the critical bottom height of the bottom well and the shelf for maximum recovery, they are made with a "mandrel". You can rely on the internal dimensions to be the same from vial to vial and lot to lot which assures you of precision, secure samples and elimination of bottoming out on your autosampler and subsequent damage to you needles.
These Reduced Surface Activity (RSA™) glass autosampler vials are designed and manufactured with a pristine interior surface that is not coated or treated in any way but lacks the typical silanol sites (hydroxide groups) other vials, even "Certified Vials" will have. This means that basic compounds will not adsorb to your glass before injection thus allowing more accurate and precise data especially when your analytes are in low abundance.
