(Londonderry, NH November 2021) – Foxx Life Sciences innovative safety solution to the disposal of hazardous waste with an efficient and affordable high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) solvent waste system. The EZwaste® system is manufactured to safely collect waste from either one or more HPLC waste systems while the carbon exhaust filter improves air quality by capturing potentially harmful vapors emitted from solvents.
Many laboratories around the United States use open containers to dispose of solvent waste, but these liquids are likely to emit volatile organic compounds (VOC), the vapor form of the chemicals. EZwaste® provides a closed solvent waste system to contain these liquids and their vapors to protect customers from adverse health effects. Foxx Life Sciences does so by including an activated carbon filter, which attaches to the cap, to contain the waste. Plugs are also included in order to maintain a complete seal when all ports are not in use.
Closed systems also guarantee no accidental spills or overflow of media. EZwaste® creates the most organized waste disposal system for HPLC machines; it also has the potential to adapt to other machines or techniques that involve liquid waste VOCs.
