High Precision Battery Test Station

We provide systems for periodic charge/discharge testing of multiple cells held at a range of temperatures, multi-channel cell control for testing cell arrays, temperature storage units for use with your charge/discharge battery test stations, multiplexed cell switching and measurement and much more.
DPM Solutions has developed battery test stations able to deliver the high precision levels needed to predict cell lifetimes from only the first few charge/discharge cycles. These test stations use source measure units to provide high stability DC current source and sink capability. These units are coupled with 6.5 digit (or higher) precision multi-meters to measure cell potentials to the level of precision required.
Complete systems are developed tailored to the client’s testing needs and budget. Throughout the system design process, from component selection to software control, care is taken to mitigate the impact any external factors may have on coulombic efficiencies.
For example, small changes in cell temperature can introduce noise into coulombic efficiency measurements. Systems may therefore be supplied with integrated controlled temperature storage chambers with very low thermal gradients both internally and over time.
The high precision test stations supplied by DPM Solutions are also able to combine high precision coulombic efficiency measurements with true open circuit storage tests to gain further insights into parasitic reaction processes.
