Xenemetrix X-Calibur ED-XRF Material Analyzer
Xenemetrix's X-Calibur Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) spectrometer offers a top price-performance solution for elemental analysis. The compact, yet robust, spectrometer fits conveniently on a traditional laboratory bench and includes a completely integrated computer system. The analyzer provides non-destructive qualitative and quantitative identification of Sodium (Na) through Uranium (U). The end result is a clearly exceptional product, able to deliver powerful analytical results today and into the future. The unique front-anode geometry of the Xenemetrix x-ray tubes, together with an advanced optical design, permits extremely close coupling to the sample which results in increased sensitivity.
The major benefit of this analyzer is its use of a Silicon Drift Detection (SDD) system that allows for a high count rate to optimize measurement speed. The excellent energy resolution provides increased sensitivity for involved material analysis.
While this laboratory ED-XRF Spectrometer is a solution for many material analysis applications, its primary uses are in petrochemical testing (lube oil analysis, utlra lower sulfur detection) and geological applications.
