General Monitors is a leading manufacturer of gas detection and flame detection products and systems. We offer a variety of fixed gas detectors that monitor for combustible gas (e.g. methane, propane, butane, ethane), toxic gas (e.g. hydrogen sulfide, carbon monoxide, chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, sulfur dioxide) and oxygen deficiency. Our gas detectors utilize a variety of technologies including electrocatalytic, electrochemical, infrared, and ultrasonic. We manufacture flame detectors that use ultraviolet, infrared or a combination of both technologies to detect fires. Our products are found all over the world in a variety of industries including oil & gas, petrochemical, power generation, wastewater treatment, and utilities.
