Hydra II AF Mercury Analyzer

The Hydra IIAF, which uses simple fluorescence (i.e. no gold amalgamation), provides a detection limit of 0.1 ppt or less and is designed for those laboratories which employ EPA Method 245.7 or European Standard EN 3506. Using it switchable gold amalgamation system for preconcentration, the Hydra IIAFGold mercury analyzer satisfies the demanding quality control requirements of EPA Method 1631 and European Standard 12338 and it does so while consuming less sample, creating less waste and running much faster than its predecessors. Its short sample cycle and high capacity, 270-position autosampler will enhance the productivity of any laboratory involved in low-level mercury analysis. Both instruments incorporate new software which brings unprecedented performance and productivity to mercury analysis all within a user-friendly graphical interface.
One of the more intriguing aspects of the Hydra IIAF and Hydra IIAF Gold is the option to transition from cold vapor atomic fluorescence to cold vapor atomic absorption to satisfy compliance for the Safe Drinking Water Act.
